Wedding photography is a fundamental part of your wedding day. As a female wedding photographer, I am able to capture your special day from start to finish, from the ceremony, to the reception and even through to midnight if you have something extra special planned. Also, as a female wedding photographer, I hold an advantage, as I am able to photograph you, the bride, getting ready, and the morning preparations. This includes hair, makeup, and even a personal boudoir photo shoot as a sexy surprise for your groom.
Pre wedding photography can be extremely important, and offer opportunities that you might not get during the wedding day. These opportunities can include beautiful portraits of you and your bridal party enjoying champagne, a beautiful portrait of you and your maid of honor or you and your mother, the fitting of the dress or images of your bridal party presenting you with you something old, new, borrowed and blue. These moments, among many others are special and deserve to be captured.
As a female wedding photographer, I will get to know you through personal consultations leading up to your big day, so we form a bond and get to know each other. This will ensure that when I am photographing you and your bridal party getting ready, you feel comfortable and confident, and the photography is unobtrusive.
One such bride who asked me to photograph her getting ready was Becky, who I met a few months before her wedding. We hit it off straight away. I love forming close relationships with my clients, because not only do I get to know them on a personal level, it also makes for better and more honest and natural photography. When I met Becky, she had already hired a male photographer. However, as she wanted getting ready shots, I recommended that it would be a more relaxed experience with a female photographer, and she agreed. It would also mean, that the other photographer could focus on the groom, Dave, getting ready and the more traditional shots.
My main style of photograph is reportage. I especially adopt reportage photography when photographing the bride getting ready, as it makes for more stylish and sophisticated images, without losing the natural fun and emotion. It also means that the bride can focus on getting ready without being constantly interrupted.
As a female wedding photographer, I will ensure that you look and feel beautiful throughout the photography process, from getting ready, right through to being presented with your final wedding album.
