Getting ready for a Civil Partnership

Updated: Mar 4

Through reportage wedding photography, I capture stylish, natural and unobtrusive images, which are simply stunning and individual to each couples requirements. Whether it is a traditional wedding, a civil partnership or a renewing of the vows, each couple is different. I don’t think that I have photographed two weddings that have been remotely similar, and I always aim to capture the events and emotions, as they unfold, that make up the unique journey of your special day.

I have photographed so many different weddings, and each has provided unique experiences and ideas. Whether it is a church wedding, a wedding abroad, or a themed wedding, each couple have created their day, and that’s what it is all about.

A few years ago, I photographed a civil partnership between El & Lea, a fabulous couple. Both were so full of fun and energy, I knew that the event would be far from ordinary. And I wasn’t wrong, it was extremely entertaining and El & Lea were welcoming and responsive to both me and the guests, which proved for some stunning images. In fact, throughout the day, there were so many amazing photographic opportunities, I couldn’t put my camera down, and ended up staying until 1am, which was almost 14 hours photography. Time really does fly when you are having fun.

Getting ready for a Civil Partnership

I love photography civil partnerships. They are a true dedication of people in love, and they are always so glamorous and exciting. A lot of thought and preparation goes into it, which really shows, and is great for photography.

Also as much as I adore photographing traditional wedding photography, I also love to photograph a civil partnership, as it can vary from traditional weddings, creating unique photographic moments. These moments create an amazing story of the special day, which can be treasured and cherished forever.
